Communications Manager of Research and Quality Assurance


Oversees and ensures consistent messaging through all business units, including both internal and external communications. This role is responsible for researching, reporting relevant, timely information and recommendations of all communication content to the Head of Brand Engagement and Government Relations or the business owner of each project. Assist in researching varies topics within Brand Engagement. Also ensures the overall quality assurance of internal and external communications. Leads and trains team members in the Marketing/Brand Engagement Team processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Background in communication or equivalent field preferred
  • 3 or more years of related experience or work inside the Communication team, Training team, or another equivalent team
  • An Associate or Bachelor’s degree required
  • Exceptional ability to clearly communicate a message, in multiple formats
  • Ability to establish priorities based on direction from the needs of the Marketing- Brand Engagement projects
  • Strong organizational skills and ability clearly communicate information and recommendations

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Innate sensitivity to nuance of language and the impact of word choice
  • Understanding of Independent Contractors who market and sell CC products
  • Understanding of business cycles and how to maximize effectiveness considering financial barriers
  • Demonstrated articulation in written and oral communication skills
  • Advising on cross-team projects for integrity and quality needs
  • Familiarity with key technology platforms such as Survey Monkey, Zoom, Hubspot, etc.
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software programs
  • Ability to provide feedback on the integrity and quality of external and internal communications in various media
  • Possess professionalism and willing to attend and actively engage (camera on) in remote meetings
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details
  • Aptitude to work remotely with diligence
  • Ability to travel around 2 weeks per year
  • Ability to work with a variety of personality types, FT/PT and flexible schedule staff.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage the Research/QA team, ensuring thorough training as well as execution of integrity and quality in all communications of the team.
  • Oversees the accuracy and appropriateness of External Communication to customers and potential customers.
  • Oversees the accuracy and appropriateness of Internal Communication to business units, staff, contractors and independent contractors.
  • Ensure Classical Conversations Core Values are utilized in all communications.
  • Ensure proactive documentation of communication templates for routine communications.
  • Oversee all Brand Engagement research for varies topics such as but not limited to events, legislation, survey/focus group results, etc.
  • Advise as needed on responsive communications that address the internal and external culture.
  • Communicate and model the Classical Conversations Core Values – Grace, Humility, Integrity, Diligence, and Excellence.
