Leigh and Rob Bortins, founders and owners of Classical Conversations, Inc., in Southern Pines, will be attending the 2019 Christian Employers Alliance CEO and Owner Forum in Washington, D.C., next month.
The forum will be held Nov. 4-5, and scheduled events include a business briefing with White House staff at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building on Nov. 4, followed by dinner at the City Club of Washington and a daylong meeting Nov. 5 at The Heritage Foundation. The Heritage Foundation is the leading conservative think tank in the country.
The focus of the forum will be to increase engagement on national policy and legislative issues that affect Christian employers, especially in the area of religious freedom.
Classical Conversations is an international, classical-education resource used by homeschoolers in all 50 states and 30 foreign countries.
